Forbid Me
by M. Robinson
Sorry it has taken so long but I've been sick and other health issues.. Anyway, here goes.
Reason for my 4 stars and not TEN is because half of this book was a hard read for me, in the age difference. Reason being I have a son that is 19 and messing around with a 16yr old but has messed with younger girls in the past. So needless to say it's always hard to read books like this with these types of relationships. When you are over 18yrs old with a boyfriend that is also over 18 it's a little different but I think this is because I am a mom going through similar stuff. On to my review..
I absolutely LOVED Lilly!! She was so sassy and quick witted that she just makes you giggle out loud. Her talent was amazing also and how she could light up a room without trying was so sweet too. Everyone just loved and adored her more than she ever knew.
Jacob was the white night in this book well til the end I think.. lol Jacob was always fighting his feelings for Lily although they always won he still fought them day in and day out. He tried over the years to keep his distance and well he finally just left her behind to make a life of his own.
Although I was set a bit back because of the age difference in Lily and Jacob the adult them was adorable. They are so cute between their old man and kid banter that I would just giggle. The hubby would just look at me like WTH but I'd just tell them that Madam M has done it again. lol
I loved still hearing about Alex and Lucas because I loved their story but hearing about all the behind the scenes? SMH intense. Hold tight ladies!! Monica truly knows how to pull all your emotions out of you when you read her books and she did that for me in this one as well. I got mad, sad, happy and just ecstatic. Now I will be on the edge of my seat waiting for Dylan and Aubrey's story to come out!!
