Let's all just call a spade a spade since we know this book is a send up of Chip & Joanna Gaines. Like all Christina Lauren novels, the plot is fast-paced and the pages just fly by. But I wasn't as drawn to the characters in this one as I have been to some of their previous books. While this one wasn't my favorite, it was still an enjoyable read. I'll keep on looking forward to the publication of their books. And good thing I still have a few backlist titles to keep me busy until their next book comes out!
