When Breath Becomes Air by Abraham Verghese, Paul Kalanithi
5.0
Reflective , inspiring and what should I say,its not a book but a life.
Every page in the book take us through the life of Paul and I bet no one could ever leave the book without a heavy heart, it will definitely change the way you look upon life.
The book begins with Paul's life as a medical student with a short sneek peek into his childhood. Then the book deals with his practice days , about how he turned into a successful neurosurgeon. The whole events take a sudden turn in his life ,as well as in the reader's, when he was diagnosed of cancer
The latter part ,and the most serious literally the heartbreaking part , the part what Paul always wanted to understand is the fight against cancer. The book leaves a chance for the reader to think and correct himself more than that it tells us that crisis in life is not a reason neither an excuse to stop doing what you really want to do. Infact it's the right time
