Consolations: The Solace, Nourishment and Underlying Meaning of Everyday Words by David Whyte

4.0

So many lovely moments and meditations. My only gripe is that the writing is strangely awkward every one in awhile, like someone missed something in editing. Most of the passages are beautiful and eloquent, then it will be interrupted by a sentence that seems to require a basic edit for clarity and it really threw me off! Overall I love this book though. It could be a text book for anyone in a major life transition. I plan to get a copy for my bookshelf as it's the sort of book I know I'll go back to over and over.
