This Thing Between Us by Gus Moreno

Ive seen a fair few possesion stories from the point of view of the loved ones but rarely from the point of the possesed. This was a delight once it got going! A slow start where I didn't really know what the book was going for if it was horror or just an introsepctive look at grief. Its a bit of both. Following a character who is thoroughly going through it and continues to go through it the whole time was fantastic. The writing is sooooooo well done. So many fantastic descriptions. Describing head stitches like a fat black centipede? Great work. Being accurate and creepy a the smae time. You can really feel the horror in your bones in this one!
