I was so excited when I heard about this book. I am all about body positivity and this book delivers that in spades as well as a wonderful cast of queer characters to love.
I am loving this trend of taking books with story lines we see again and again but actually making them diverse. Being able to see myself and my community in more popular media never fails to bring a smile to my face.
Christian did a fantastic job with this work. I loved Noni and her (mis)adventures of self discovery. While in the beginning she did seem a bit juvenile to me she definitely matured as the story progressed. Her story was fun and flirty and in place heart felt.
All said and done this book is fantastic both as a book of self discovery but also as an addition to the queer canon. I loved this book and I can not wait to get myself a physical copy!
