I always know which MMC in an SJ. Tilly series is going to be THE one for me. I knew it with Vincent, and with Zach, Daddy Axel as well as Dom. And I knew, I just KNEW, that Nathan Waller was going to fall onto that same list. And. I. Was. So. Right. I loved every single second of this book (which is a given since, you know, @sjtillyauthor wrote it - I just didn't expect how much!). The prologue, oh my SOUL!! I loved getting a few povs in the prologue that gave us the history of Nate and Rosie's childhood friendship, it did a brilliant job at setting the scene.

I loved how dedicated and hard working Rosie is, how good and kind she is and how she is absolutely selfless even though it's obvious she is haunted by a dark past. I enjoyed the whole awkwardness of Nate not recognizing Rosie and how absolutely persistent he was once he realized his f*ck up. Rosie needs alot of work and time and I loved that Nate insisted on being there for her - he is honestly such an amazing character, so sweet, the perfect cinnamon roll! I'm not normally one for the second-chance trope but Tilly absolutely knows how to knock it out of the park. Also, every scene with Charles the cat is utter perfection.

I have to say that one of my favourite things about her books are the cameos! I love that we see characters and places mentioned from previous books of hers! We got Meghan!!! (who is my all time favorite SJ. Tilly fmc) and we got King and Savannah and I was honestly reading a dream! This book does deal with some heavy topics though so check triggers but I absolutely loved the way Rosie took charge of her life! This story was flawless and I cannot wait to see what we get next! PS. I hope there is a book on Tony because I think I'm kind of in love with him too 👀
