Let Them Rot: Antigone's Parallax by Alenka Zupančič
4.0
As always, Zupancic is clear and precise. I didn't always feel like each chapter connected to the others, so the book felt more like a collection of essays than a unified argument across chapters. It had compelling interpretations of Antigone, and the final chapter was particularly convincing that Antigone is not a story of familial love, resistance to tyranny, or feminism as much as it is a commitment to not covering up the incest at the heart of her family's story and every family's story.
