I enjoyed the premise of the novel and it was an interesting take on a mythical creature. I had to say though that the plot was a little (ok a lot..) predictable and it didn't really have me that intrigued. I enjoyed the characters though and you could see that the novel was opening up a paranormal world that could produce many more novels.

I thought the romance in the novel was only so-so and would have actually preferred the book if it was more about the paranormal but I understand that the romance paranormal genre is what young adults are currently devouring. Overall I though the book was enjoyable but not a must read.
