Alright, I SUPPOSE that I am a sucker for books that include pirates and fae and sirens now. 🫠🫣

These books are set in such a dreamy, and sometimes terrifying, world, but I really love escaping to the world of the Aisling Sea. I am also HERE for all of these strong, relatable, and sometimes clumsy, FMCs, like Aoife, Maura, Cait, and Capt. Halloran. Their bravery, sass, and loyalty add a great dynamic to the series.

I also enjoyed this book more than the first. This plot was a little bit slow at times, but otherwise, I really loved getting to know the characters better— even if a few side characters broke my heart a bit!  It also ends on a cliffhanger for a couple of characters and it makes me SO excited for book 3.

It was the perfect wind-down for me  as it ended up being the last book that I read in 2022.
