I thoroughly enjoyed this debut novel. Such a good premise with a nicely done execution. Some bits were a bit gruesome and violent so do check out the trigger warnings. However, it all fitted the story nicely. I am really curious to see where the story goes next and what happens between the characters. This book shows very well how propaganda can make a group of people be deemed ‘less’ making them outcasts. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a good fantasy with a little bit of romance.
