Hope you love italics...
... Because this author sure does. Seriously, you can't go one or two paragraphs without something bring italicized. It's like the author discovered this and just went crazy with it. It really distracted from the story, as I spent more time skipping paragraphs to see if I could escape a few pages without italics, but nope.
I guess the story was ok. Not sure, at I was to busy looking at all the italicized words.
