Gabe by Giulia Lagomarsino

5.0

Gabe Moore is a man that loves everything about a woman. He has quite the “salty” language and makes no excuses for it. He also has a great sense of humor. It gave me a chuckle a time or two. Isabella “Isa” knows how to put her brother in his place. His story is book two in the series – if you need to catch up. She’s just come out of a bad relationship but you can tell that she still knows how to flirt.

Our author seems to be on a roll. All of a sudden, each story seems better than the last. No two books seem the same, which is good for us. Each story takes us on a different adventure. Seeing the heat between our main characters builds as the story progresses. Ms. Lagomarsino also takes the time to create two cuties. You have to pull out the sympathy card for Isa who has a lot on her plate but you can feel the love she has for them – plus they’re part of the reason that you’ll get a laugh at Gabe’s expense. In creating the interactions between Gabe and Isa, they seem so natural and believable. She also had me curious as to whether men actually do what the group did for Gabe.

This is another of our author’s books that I just couldn’t seem to put down. I didn’t want it to end – especially when there’s some suspense going on. Though I know it has to because how else will I get to the next book in the series – yes, the author’s not done yet. It does make it hard to go back and read what I’ve missed because I keep wanting to move forward. But since I don’t really feel that I’ve missed anything so far, I know that at some point I will get caught up – just not right now.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
