I related to Joy so much. Being asexual myself, and having recently come to that conclusion, the description of her process of realisation were incredibly relatable. Her anxiety around her relationships were incredibly relatable and her internal monologue was a joy to read.

The other characters are also lovely. I did find myself frustrated with Malcom's actions, especially in the last few chapters. But it was never enough to make me discard the book.
