THE TWIST?! Genius! I had the tiniest bit of an inkling, but it was still absolutely shocking.

Throughout the whole book I was wondering why he was so adamant on ‘helping her’ & it all makes so much sense. I questioned why he (Theo - the narrator) was playing detective, again, it all makes sense now. There were a few other parts where he was just annoying, a little off - again, it all makes sense.

This was such a fast read for me, the short chapters made me say ‘just one more’ often, when in reality my ‘one more’ was about ten more because I was so hooked on the book. It was a solid 4 throughout, and that ending bumped it the extra star for me.

The story, the characters, the twist - amazing 😍
