this is such a sweet, heartwarming story. it’s perfect for ramadan, i kind of wish i picked it up then. this book is the best muslim representation i’ve ever read, the constant mention of Allah, Dua constantly striving to be a better muslim, the vibe of ramadan, everything was just amazing. I also really loved the way the author included the troubles and islamaphobia muslims face on a day to day basis, but the way she handles it in the book and the way Dua understands how this dunya is meant to be a test, i just love it. And Dua and Hassan’s interactions oh my god, Hassan constantly caring for her and looking at her eee so cute. the ending has my heart i love the relationship Dua manages to build with her family and i NEED a sequel rn
