I found this book when I had been hopeless, going through a rough patch in life. Mostly because my best friend was fighting against unknown health issues, admitted and taken back to the hospital for how many times, I almost lost count of it. The first time I saw this book was when her dad bought her this book while she was just taken out of HDU (High Dependency Unit) a day before. Her dad didn't know what it was about and we didn't know what it was about. I remember him asking me what the word Al chemist meant, I thought to myself it must be about a man who is a chemist, maybe creates potions who knows. How ridiculous of me!
I didn’t know it was about creating magic called hope, I didn't know it was about, what's your will find their way to be your's no matter what, while also teaching you some lessons important for life all along.
And then few days passed.
I was once going through the books in our campus library, and this book was sitting right at the corner. It was newly bought into the library, and now that I think of it, it seems like it was bought there for me.
As I saw my friend holding it, I thought why not give it a try and then I can suggest her if she should read it or not.
Believe me when I say I'm not a fast paced reader it takes me at least a month to finish a book, but this, I read this book in just two days. I just couldn't stop reading. When it started, it felt like an Arabian night story like Ali Baba and 40 thieves, but it was nothing like that. I wouldn't want to spoil it for anyone,
I'd just say if ever in life, anyone comes to a point where they'd do with any tiny bit to hold onto, to go on, Read This Magical Piece.
I've been in love ever since, It completely changed my way of seeing life. It'll always be a book I'll hold close to my heart.
