The start of (another) one of my favorite arcs!! I love Bertolt and Reiner and the angst and tension in these chapters is palpable. SNK always awes me in how much it pushes the sympathy for opposing sides so hard. Knowing what I know and going back over these makes the whole thing so interesting to read.
