I could spend a week sharing with you all the amazing bits of information from this book! "Atomic Habits" is definitely an amazing complement to BJ Foggs' "Tiny Habits" and Jen Sincero's "Badass Habits". In fact, James Clear references BJ Fogg's work in this book!
The 2 main points that I love from this book are:
* Focus on improving your habit 1% a day. That's it. Focus on small improvements as consistent small improvements every day will lead to amazing results.
* Don't skip your habit twice. Meaning, if you skip your workout one day, do not allow yourself to skip it a second day. Doing so is a very slippery slope which can then lead to skipping the habit multiple days and maybe all together. We are all going to skip our habit, whatever it is. We are human. Just don’t give yourself permission twice. Get back on that horse just as soon as you can.
I have seen a lot of folks have read this book too. What is YOUR favorite takeaway from the book?
