The Space Between Worlds by Micaiah Johnson

challenging dark emotional mysterious medium-paced

4.0

Ooooh. This is the best kind of science fiction book out there. A story that stems multiple worlds in a multi-verse with variables that can be shifted one way or the other based on the order of specific events, and a technological genius who is working on a game changer.

This was a fun book to listen to, and one that played into some of the best things about science fiction and fantasy—imaging what worlds might look like if just one thing was changed, how might we be better as a species, how might we be worse. What are the choices we make in split second moments that shift the course of individual lives forever?

The Space Between Worlds is an incredibly compelling (and at times intense!) read.
