The Marsh King's Daughter by Karen Dionne

3.0

I think I'm in the minority here. It seems people either loved this book or hated it. I'm like right down the middle. I didn't particularly like Helena, as a child or as an adult. The descriptions of nature and living life in the woods was too much. Like, I seriously don't care how to chop wood. The psychological part of the story is what was fascinating, and unfortunately there's not a lot of it, and there's too many questions left unanswered.
