I was all over the place with this book. Being introduced to the characters and learning who they are and why there are where they are, it was done extremely well. I was really drawn in to each character and was excited to see how they all fit together. and I wish the whole book was this way. But it wasn't.
I was disappointed about how Westin wasn't allowed to be her own person. Someone had to be with her That may have been because that is how this universe is set up (this is the only book in the series I have read) but it's suffocating. I was extremely put off by this and disliked the relationships.
I rarely ever say this but sometimes with the smutty scenes, I just wanted them to end. There were too many and they weren't all done well.
