This book fantastically writes the women of the Trojan war into the story. I love the continuity structured into the book through the narration from Calliope, goddess of poetry, and how individual women's stories are woven in between the Trojan women chapters. Each chapter is beautifully heartbreaking in it's own way. If you have any interest in Ancient Greek mythology or women's history then this is well worth a read.
