I really enjoyed this book. It was spicy, dark, and had just the right amount of romance sprinkled in. I haven't read the other book in this interconnected series, but it's written in a way that you don't have to. Usually, big plot points are missing if you skip a book in a series, but I didn't have any spots of confusion while reading. Overall, it was a fast read that I enjoyed. (Definitely check triggers before reading)
