Wow, what a brilliant book!
So well researched, and so well written. My brother & boyfriend both read this book months ago and told me that I should, however I put it off thinking it was a boy's story, but how wrong I was!!
First of all, I had absolutely no idea of this story or that this had happened during the war but now I can't stop thinking about it. What I liked most about this book, is that rather than just explaining the action and the plot it gives a background to each person involved before explaining why they were chosen for each part in the operation.
The writing is easy to follow for anyone who knows lots about this or like me, nothing at all.
Some excellent quotes, and you really feel the emotions that these men felt at each stage during the operation.
I definately think this is a must read, highly recommended.
