Killings by Calvin Trillin
4.0

I enjoy Calvin Trillin's writings in the New Yorker, but I had no idea that back in the day, he traveled around the country for the NY writing stories about Americana, which included numerous profiles of American crime and specifically murders. This collection of his crime stories has some real gems in it, including "Among Friends," "Right of Way," and "At the Train Bridge." If you like true crime, crazy stories of eccentric people in the various corners of our country, and humans being horrible to one another, I definitely recommend.
