Daredevil, Volume 6 by Mark Waid, Tom Peyer

3.0

My least favourite of this series. There's an interesting story involving the primary bully from Matt's childhood, and a white supremacist cult that has infiltrated the criminal justice system. In real-world 2016, we still have police, judges, and elected officials who are active members of the KKK, so this could develop into an even more gripping and relevant story in Vol. 7.

But this trade is not really worth its own weight. It's just a few issues of Daredevil, then a crappy two-issue Hulk story that has Daredevil, but not with his Mark Waid-written voice. The only point of including it in this collection is the reveal that Bruce Banner is the mysterious client who has Murdock on retainer, which is given a pretty flimsy explanation.
