Break Me by Meagan Brandy

Oh My God! This book,.... Royce,.... Brielle,.... absolutely swoon worthy! Brielle and Royce are a perfect fit and I couldn't have wished for a better HEA for Royce. The broken boy, the lost boy with a heart of gold, trying to find his way out of his darkness that was about to swallow him. Rescued by a ray of sunshine. Brielle is a saint, an angel made for Royce. You heard about the bonds made in heaven and executed on earth? Yeah, that's one of those, soulmates through and through. Having recognized each other from their first encounter.

The way those characters were portrayed is mesmerizing. Royce character development, his inner tumults, the way he broke - was fascinating to read/to follow. I love that the chemistry between Brielle and Royce was explored on a deeper level, not focusing directly on their physical attraction. And their chemistry is what makes this book something special, because it's so palpable.

I loved almost everything of this book. There's nearly nothing I can complain about, but one thing: The end felt rushed and the troubles/disasters that were bound to happen came all at once what made the end a little overloaded. At least one of both could have happened sooner IMO. And that's the only thing preventing me from giving 5 stars. :-)
