Leigh Bardugo’s ability to write character dynamics that are addicting to read even when literal crumbs are given needs to be studied. Absolutely love the somewhat “dark academia” aesthetic of this book series. I found Hell Bent more enjoyable than Ninth House, maybe because it’s been so long since I’ve read NH but I think mainly because it wasn’t as info-dumpy, which is a given since this is the 2nd book. I absolutely love darlingstern and I’m begging for the 3rd book.
