Friday’s Child by Georgette Heyer, my third Heyer book and by far my favourite.
It is, as always, very well researched, and is a delightful confectionery - romantic and funny. It is written as a comedy of errors with entertaining characters (I loved the secondary characters here!) and a fluffy romance (I heard the violins, I swear, like in old movies when they kiss). Recommended if you are after something light, but well written.
