Deathmaker was a good read. I've always loved Tolemek as a character and on the apparent 3rd read of this story, I still love it. I have exactly 0 memory of reading it in 2017 lol what a fun time to have memory problems right?!

Anyway. Tolemek is an evil scientist who was responsible for the deaths of too many in Iskandia

and obviously that's why I love him lmfao I have a type. Tragic backstory, morally gray, murderer. . .clearly book boyfriend material.

I also love how our main heroine isn't very tall. . .like barely 5'1" lol or as I like to say " 5'1" on a good day" lol idk why, but I love it when the MC is short. I know, it's really weird.

There are some twists and turns that I did see coming and not because I've read it before. I couldn't remember anything going into it, except that I liked it and that Tolemek is amazing. It's kind of sad TBH. This review shouldn't be about how I can't remember anything considering that I'm 28 I shouldn't have this problem but that's how it ended up lol.
