Skye Warren writes complex stories and even more complex "heroes".
Damon Scott is a prime example of that.
He is rich, powerful, manipulative, protective and yes, even sweet in his own unique way.
He was caught in Penny's web. He seemed like the mastermind who moved the pieces, but was caught and had no intention of escaping.
All Damon wanted was Penny. He let her go but was patient and in the end, she came back.
He played games and never revealed his true desires, but when he did, when Penny finally understood his desires, it was heartbreaking and liberating.
