Then Came You by Jennifer Weiner

4.0

I found all four main characters well developed, the plot was a page turner, and I particularly appreciated the exploration of poverty/wealth/class differences as related to fertility. At the end of this edition, there is also a short interview of the author where she makes the point that commercial fiction written by women (as opposed to literary fiction written by men) gets undeservedly short shrift by book reviewers. I think she's right in general, and this book in particular seems to me one that should not be relegated to a "chick lit" category.
