I didn't like this one as much as I liked the tomb of atuan, but I still really liked this story. It was much darker than I expected. There was lots of existentialism and death and fear.
Still, I think the overall moral (balance; death is a part of life, not to be feared but respected, like life, which also can be scary) is lovely and I kind of wish I had read these as a kid.
