Emotional and poignant. I found some of her experiences as an immigrant completely relatable but where this book lost me is the religious aspect of it. Not that a book isn't good if it's not relatable but the constant back and forth between believing, doubting, hating, accepting Christianity made it harder to keep on reading. I think someone who has experienced losing faith after a tragedy (or for some other reason) would love this book.
