Touching

This was an emotional story with some surprising family secrets. Nova was a very likable lead character. Her desire to help at-risk youth was very sweet. I loved her determination to protect Henry and Bella. Their father was such a monster. He created so much angst everywhere that he went. The story became more interesting when Nova’s connection to the kids was revealed. I loved the suspense that was built up when Bella was taken away. This is the type of book that would translate so well to a movie screen. I really enjoyed this book.
