The Odessa File by Frederick Forsyth
4.0

Reading Forsyth’s The Fox last year made me want to reread some of his earlier novels. This one is similar to The Fox in the cat-and-mouse game between hunter and hunted. But the Nazi element and the greater focus on the characters’ thoughts make this book better developed and more engaging. It has a wonderful opening scene on 11/22/63. And, if you can find it, David Rintoul’s unabridged narration on audio is great.
