An Unwavering Trust by L.L. Diamond

5.0

To start off this review I will say that I liked this book. The idea of both Lizzy and Darcy each saving each other from a undesirable situation was a interesting idea for a book. I haven't seen this done before so it was a interesting new concept. I enjoyed the fact that for a good portion of the book her uncle Gardiner was the villain was also something I haven't seen done. His idea to trade Lizzy and her inheritance to pay off his debts was a dick move. Thank the gods that he didn't succeed. Fitzwilliam's father is alive in this tale and is trying to force him to marry Anne. For most of the book he is angry that Darcy managed to get away with not marrying his cousin. He even goes so far as to draw up documents trying to make his marriage to Lizzy invalid. Lady Catherine is also angry but didn't go the extreme that Darcy's father did. However Darcy does end up the master of Rosings anyway when Anne dies. Wickham doesn't really make that much of an impact to the story until almost the end of the book. However he does get what coming to him and the situation with Wickham makes Darcy and his father make up.

I do like this story and I will read it again in the future. This is another winner from Ms. Diamond. If you haven't checked out any of her stories you should.
