Jane Austen is a pearl in literature. And so are her characters. This book is about so more than missed opertunities and a long lost love. They adress so many more issues and that makes it an even better book. I liked it, i really did but i can't give it the five stars. It was to long. to slow and maybe that's because it's written in old English and my motherlaguage is't even English so sometimes it was hard to read.
It took 100 pages to come to the conclusion and that was just to long for me. But i did like Anne. She is a realistic person with a mind of her own. I loved that and i loved the way Jane desribes the people.
Conclusion: it was worth the read and i think it's a lovely book
This is my first revieuw and it's in English so it's possible that there are mistakes in the writing.
