It took me over three weeks but I finally read one of the most iconic horror novels out there.

I really enjoyed reading about this group of friends (The Losers) they each brought such a unique character and skill set. My favorite was Ben though, he's so smart and so loyal, and honestly anyone who grows up with books for friends gets my favor.

Mike was another one of my favorite characters, not only did he become a librarian, but he also stuck around Derry and did his best to document the history of Derry, and of how It influenced events.

I appreciated how intertwined the past and the present were throughout this novel. You really got a feeling for how Derry, Maine is and always was. And seeing the almost parallel movements as the group came back to really finish off It was so cool. I felt the changes between time were very well executed.

One thing I hated about this book was how sexualized the interactions of 11 year olds was. That was really gross and there's a specific scene near the end of the book that I feel was very unnecessary.
