Gift of the Darkness by E.E. Holmes

4.0

I'm sad. I spent a whole month reading the entire series and now it's over. Now what am I supposed to read?

This book brings it all to a close. There wasn't as much character development, which wasn't a big deal, and where there was, it made sense. Also, I like the fact that characters aren't safe. I'm not spoiling anything, but there have been moments, in this book and in previous ones wear a tear was shed.

And here's the thing, were the author to continue the adventures of Jessica, Hannah, Milo, and friends, I would totally read it because so much more can be written with this series. The world that this author created is so rich with detail and mythology, that I can see that more books would be possible.

So yeah. I really, really liked this book and the series.
