In Too Deep by Jayne Ann Krentz

3.0

This one was actually a 3.5 I read as a comfort read and it was certainly that. I was much more excited to read the book than I was actually reading it. Fallon and Isabelle where more intriguing in the previous books in the series. In this one they really had no conflict and no heat- kinda meh.
The villians where disapointing as well they stayed out of the way until needed stepped forward when it was their turn and were easily dispatched.

Small town with quirky characters- check
Mysteries that end up being related- check

But then I did not pick this book up expecting anything earth shattering and it delivered what I did want a solid romantic suspense with paranormal elements- it could easily have been better but it does get points for being exactly what I needed it to be.
