The Girl on the Train
by Paula Hawkins
Steady. Moving. Twisting.
This read was very similar to The Woman in the Window. The "unreliable woman" trope, the writing style, the flow, even the twist felt the same. So I saw the ending coming. But I would recommend this one over The Woman in the Window for sure!
It had good flow, steady build, and a good conclusion. I thought the passing train and how much she sees was a little unrealistic, but plausible enough for the plot to be engaging. The multiple points of view definitely added to the story as well; I liked that element.
Let me know if you've read it and if so, your thoughts!
