I have said it before and I will say it again, this series has some great ideas but I personally am just not fond of the authors writing style. You may then ask why I keep reading the books? The answer is that I am interested in the story, I want to know what happens. Damon was odd in this book, he really makes an awful ||human||, he is uncaring, impulsive and reckless, ||even more so than when hes a vamp||. I do like when his caring instincts come out, Stephan is back and functioning and by that I mean being annoying, he keeps insisting he wants bunnies when he has several willing donors who all have a much better chance of making it therough the day if the vamps are at their strongest. I like Ms. Flowers, she is brilliant. Bonnie is enfuriating, why is she written like a five year old, immature is one thing but the way she acts sometimes, especially in this book, just seems rediculous. Elena is bland she talks anout her rings 12 times per chapter. ||I loved the ending but thats because I love Damon so any chance of life he has will make me happy||.
