okay I always say this, but I wasn’t expecting much from this book. I started reading this book, because I wanted to be fully emerged into a long, complex fantasy world/novel. And it did just that! It started out quite quite quite slow, with lots of worldbuilding, which is to be expected, but it was dragging. I loved the characters (most) and the descriptions.
