What Happened to Goodbye by Sarah Dessen

Ok so technically 3.75 stars, I rarely give half or quarter stars but this one just did not deserve a 3 but at the same time lacked the 4 star rating for me. I loved the premise of this book from the restaurant aspect to the group of friends. I just reallly wanted this story to go a little deeper. Dessen,I believe,tries and succeeds doing this with McLean’s mom but the friendship dynamic of some of the characters felt forced and surface level. Still a good, fast read and I would recommend it.
