Secrets of a Billionaire by Eva Winners
5.0
This book was quite the journey. I have to say that the book follows along the same storyline as book 2 in this series but it is important to know the other half of the story. This is better understood if you read book 2 first. If you’ve read the first two books you will have met these characters, especially book two because it gives big insight into this one.
Billie is a fashion designer who hopes to design jewelry one day and is in her 20’s. At a club in France, she meets Winston through her sister. He is in his early 30’s and is a smug billionaire who’s arrogant, rude, an alcoholic, but is dealing with his own demons. They have a one night stand that doesn’t end well the next morning. However, Billie finds herself having to do something unlike herself in hopes of saving her family and comes face to face with him again. She unknowingly gets intertwined in something she didn’t want. The two part ways with her despising him and the story picks up six years later when they see each other again.
There is a lot of angst, back and forth, secrets and suspense. They a very long, hard road to get their happiness but in the end it’s worth it.
Eva does such a great job at pulling you into the story while also teasing at your emotions and heart strings.
Another job well done!
