It's a captivating book about a campus love story between a hockey player and a music major. While going on with their own worldviews, its challenging to know how two characters fall in love when both are way too different with each other. The common ground? Their nonchalant annoyance at the first few meetings and the honest conversations about their childhood experiences/traumas that follow. There were insights of emotional warmth and vulnerability from college students who are just striving for their dreams with grit.

The book also speaks of sexual assault and domestic abuse. It was really unfair how the former got away with fake witnesses and the latter not even convicted for his crimes.

This shows a general trend and even doses of reality how this offenses do happen on a daily but often leave victims no service of justice.
