A great second novel in a fascinating world with good characters, nice spice, mystery and magic. This one was even better, though more tense, than the first as we're getting further into the plot and get to see more of the world and how the magic and old gods work. There is quite the cliffhanger ending but a lot more is wrapped up than the first novel that just ended. I'm jumping straight on to the third!
