It had it's moment but I literally cannot finish it. It's just simply too long and too full of trivial details... not to mention the overbearing "life lessons" that the reader is slapped in the face with. I also dislike how the author takes the reader out of the story by saying things like "now, the reader will understand blah blah" or personal remarks. I know it's a classic and was probably good for its time, but it's taking me too long to finish, and usually when that happens it's because I'm bored out of my mind. It had me slightly interested for a little bit but other than that... it feels long for the sake of being long.
